    What a travesty .... Wrecked perfection. I love the Ford GT, I don't love the aftermarket chop job GTX1, and when they went bankrupt it sucked the value out of the artificially inflated GTX1 market.

    Less than 5 built? I forget the number. I know they had the #1 prototype car in the DuPont Registry for a while.

    Well you start with an incredible performance machine, then you take a sawzall and hack it up, reducing the structural integrity. then you add weight to it with new bracing and body panels, and there you have it: something that looks like a sports car that an heiress can be seen in going to the club.

    Might as well make a stretch limo version while they are at it.

    it wasn't built by Ford, wasn't sanctioned by Ford. It was built by a tuner, and he basically tried to merge Italian design and a chainsaw with American Supercar muscle. The company went bankrupt. Only "5 built" reminds me of the thread with the 2012 STI chops for sale by that dealer for 70k. Only 5 of those too.
