The new 5.0's are amazing, that's not a great representation of what they can do in the 1/4 mile.

I doubt $30,000; perhaps with no options, and hammering on the price might put it in within reach. But I'm sure for $32,000 or so you can have one in your driveway.

Richard Broadway ran a 10.25 @ 137.5MPH in his Evolution Performance, Inc. Built and Tuned 2011 Mustang GT 5.0L 4V Automatic at Cecil County Dragway just hours after picking the car up at our shop! The modifications consist of a Procharger Stage II at 10lbs of Boost, 1 7/8 Longtube Headers with Off-Road X-Pipe, Circle D Torque Converter, and M/T ET Drag Slicks! The video will be posted on Monday!

Should be much faster than 12.2, like everyone said. These new Mustangs are growing on me..

No way man. I don't agree with that at all. With a top notch driver, damn near perfect prepped track, and tires; I'd see it at low 11s.

Difference between a 9 second car and 11 second car is night and day.

If you see the car I posted two posts above they say it's 605hp on blower according to Pro-charger. That same car with 4.56 gears could run close to 9's. But wouldn't be really streetable.
