    Default Are CTS-V's any good?

I'm just debating getting a CTS-V. I want a daily driver that I'm not worried about parking anywhere.. The CTS-V looks great. Just wondering what people think.. Do they bleed money? Is there any point in hoping for resale? Any good deals out there?

What generation are you thinking about? I've heard good things about both.

    1. Don't buy the old body style (pre 2008 IIRC), I have heard of some bugs that were worked out in the new body style.
    2. Don't buy the new coupe, the rear end looks like a piece of shit
    3. Buy a CTS-V that is not one that i just mentioned, and you will love it
I have two friends with one, one of my friends put a zr1 blower, cams, pulley, new fuel system, and its a monster (low 11s high 10s on the 1/4 mile) which is rediculous for a sedan of its size.

V1 or V2? 04-05 models were plagued with rear end issues, 06-07 got a the newer 6.0L LS2 and an upgraded rear diff, shifter is a must in either. 09-Current are plain sick, pretty much better in every way over the V1's. I went with a V1 because I wanted to pay cash and my business is still pretty new, so if a month went by where I'd have to cut down, I didn't want a car payment to get in the way. Just my .02.

    I would only buy a '10 or '11.
