"The alarm Fu%$in starter"
I've been a HUGE fan of 53-56 Effie's(F-100's) for as long as I can remember. I actually bought my grandfathers 54 F-100 for $300 when I was 15, and it was all down hill from there.
I plan to keep mine stock, but I have plans to add a second to the mix eventually. Tim Allen's 56 has always been a favorite. Some hardcore Ford heads hate the Hemi in it, but it sure as hell is unique.
Listen close to the video, and you'll get the thread title haha.

I think there was an episode of Rides chronicling the build. I'm not into trucks, but this one's a very well-done hotrod. Also sounds like NRE redid the engine, because Tom's talking about individual throttle bodies, naturally aspirated, etc. But, the photos show it with a blower and drag intake with throttle-stop.
Post some pics of your grandpa's truck Markus.

IMO, any true gearhead can't be upset when you go oh, I ditched the blah blah for a blown, 1000hp hemi with a legitimate injected bird catcher.
It's sexy!

It's Tom Nelson. They apparently could not get the Alchy motor to run right, so they took it to Tom and he revamped the whole thing, made it drivable.

For some reason I thought it was Tom Nelson. But yeah, it is definitely Troy.
