No... but the one he has now has a built 502 crate motor [I would add a "suprised" smilie here, but honestly, this sort of thing is not surprising from Thomas any more]

You can do a ton of stuff with/to the JK.

They are quite capable even in stock form. I would start with wheels & tires and perhaps a bit of lift.

You don't really need big horsepower most of the time - that would be the LAST thing I did to a JK. Learn how to drive and enjoy it first. I had a chance to 'Wheel Falken Tire's JK last weekend at Tierra del Sol (Ocotillo Wells, CA) and even with relatively stock power it was TONS of fun. Never got it stuck!

The Falken boys want to put a Hemi in it, but it's not really necessary, depending on how you use the truck. Most people don't really off road them, so...

I like the slanted roof on this one. Looks interesting.

I bought my TJ for $11.5k which was pretty cheap for a low mile Rubicon. I have since began the modding process. I'm going for a low center of gravity setup. I have lifted it 3" so far. I have 33" tires under it. I plan on installing a High Line Kit, which will make room for 37"s.

Jeeps are great, Jeep people are friendly. Checkout jeepforum.com if you have any questions. Tell them Jake03TJ referred you. They have some of the best tech on the Internet.

This is what I'm all about about, and no this isn't mine.

The only Jeep that I would ever consider daily driving is an Jeep Srt8. Mine is simply a toy.
