Default Fav old school n new school American whips

I just wanted to know what are a some of your fav domestic whips. A brief description too. Mines would be the Ford GT and 1967 Ford Galaxy coupe. I guess Ive always loved Ford cars lol. First On Race Day baby. The GT is one because it was inspired by an older race version (GT40), it has the best exhaust note of any american sports car out and its brutally fast from what Ive seen and heard. When Im able to afford one I will definately have one some day. The Ford Galaxy is the Scottie Pippen of Ford during the muscle days. Everybody knows about it and gives it credit but is still overshadowed by Mike(GT500). I personally think its one the best cars of the 60s especially the late 60s. I plan on getting one sometime in the near future and restoring it. So whats yours?
I'm so far ahead of my time, I'm bout to start another life

Growing up in the 60's/70's, my all time favorites (no real surprises):

Old: 65 Mustang Fastback ala GT-350, 68 Camaro SS, 72 Cuda, 70 Boss Mustang, 70 Challenger, 70 Charger, early 60's Covrvette, Plymoth Superbird (assuming I could find a tall garage) and a 68/69' Firebird Trans-Am. OH, and that car in my avatar.

    New:
I'm with Corvetteboy3 on the C5 and C6 series, The Shelby series of Mustangs, any of the 2003/2004 GTO's. In addition: 2009 Camaro, any Dodge Viper, and the Ford GT.
If ONLY Ford could have made the GT90... it might have trumped a good number of supercars of the 90's.

solid choices. for old school i'll go with 69 camaro ss. for new, it's tough: hennessey venom 1000, saleen s7 twin turbo, ford gt, and vette zr1. might give zr1 the nod because of it's all-aroundness
    01 Mustang SVT Cobra
02 Subaru Impreza WRX 5 MT (gone)
    84 MBZ 300D Turbodiesel (retired at 330K)
