This show pales in comparison to the Palo Concourse...but some may still appreciate the American Muscle!
Bloomington Gold corvette show is held every year on a golf course in St. Charles IL. It's a beautiful setting...and some amazing Corvettes showed up. Pardon my camera skills...i'm still learning.
Heading out there following my dad in the Z.
Driving and taking pictures...hence the quality.
Pulling onto the golf course...very narrow. Taking pictures and I should be focusing on avoiding the bushes!
This is the very first 1953 Corvette Motorama. Another 53 vette sold at the show through the Mecum auction that was going on there for over 200k.
Lots of classic race cars that were very important. The 3 car won the 24 hours of Lemans race.
A friend of ours was lucky enough to be invited to display his car in the Marquee area. It's a 72 ZR1 with only 290 miles on it. Very rare...and very expensive.

I LOVE THIS CAR!
This is a replica...but the original(which was there) is probably in the 250-500k range. Next to it was a Callaway.
This color combo is beautiful!
