If you're not goin vip opening nite to chat with biz owners, etc...the rest of the week is ftl unless you bring your own cocktails . Last yr was fun tho, shame we had to roll out and miss the afterparty hehe.

I would have to agree. I hadn't been back to the show in at least 15 years. My friend invited me to come along and the funnest part was watching his 8 year old son jumping into every open car with enthusiasm.

The one takeaway was that Volvo's seats were really comfortable, and the center dash design is pretty unique - Scandinavian influence making it stand out in the increasingly homogeneous auto interior environment.

We got tired after about 1.5 hours, and completely missed the hall with the Porsches and Ferraris. But that's OK - like you say, plenty of friends inviting me for a ride or even a drive. That beats going to a car show any day.

The show was fun and all, had a handfull of nice cars...but the SF International Auto Show still has yet to impress me :/
