    Default 1972 Chevelle w/ Dual Carb LS7

I bought a 1972 Chevelle a couple of years ago with the intention of turning it into a pro-tourer, powered by a 427ci LS7. Unfortunately, its just sat in my garage while I've messed around with other projects. Well, I finally got around to assembling the motor and installing the front drive kit. Hopefully, I'll have the whole car completed by next spring.

As far as the engine goes, I started with a block out of a C6Z06. Then replaced the rotating assembly with a Callies Speed Pack and upgraded all of the other internals. I added an aggressive cam and (2) Pro System carbs atop a Marcella manifold. The accessories are from Wegner Motor Sports. When completed, it will be a 750+ horsepower street/strip car.

Obviously, I have a lot more work to do before it's up and running but I thought I'd share my progress with you thus far.

    Thanks guys !

The main reason I went with the carb set up is because they're easy to work on and I can tune the motor myself.

    I had a StageIII 4L80E with a trans brake built to withstand the abuse I'm gonna give it. . . . .
