Thread: Great review of the 2012 Chevy Camaro SS - why it's like a "SPONGE" and "FAIL"

I personally think the Camaros are terrible - and this review basically said the same thing. Do you agree with it? I think they kind of suck

That review reads like someone who has never written a review in their life. There is no objectivity. The whole thing just screams "I already hate the Camaro, then someone gave me a Camaro to review". Of the 7 paragraphs written, only one even mentions how the car is to actually drive. It actually makes me wonder if the reviewer even drove the car at all. Oh, and you're 3 years late to the goddamned game. If you were going to lambast the Camaro and make any sort of meaningful difference, you would have done it at release, back in 2009. Instead, you're reviewing something that has been reviewed up and down by people with actual credibility.

EDIT: Oh, this was written by the co-owner of Manhattan Classic Car Club. Seems like all the attention that the club has drawn has deluded him into thinking his uninformed opinion is worth something. And how has this guy not been banned yet? All he does is spam the board with links to this awful blog.

Bang for your buck, these are great cars. The article is stupid.

Didn't read the article because of the comments but I must say I've always disliked the camaro, but I rented an SS a few weeks ago and although it's not my bimmer I was impressed especially for the price you pay. I think its very daily drivable and fun to drive which cannot be said about the older camaros

To sum it up the stock Camaro is a great car but built to an affordable price. Stock suspension is meant to please the 98% so it is compliant. If you want to tear it up on the track get a 1LE or ZL1 and they get it done, all while still looking like a concept car most anyone can afford. They're not for everyone but there isn't much better for the money in my opinion.

I'll add I'm totally biased as I'm a GM employee.....but a car enthusiast first haha.
