Default 2013 dodge viper....what do you think about it ? :)

    hey folks.....
so i saw the pics of the new dodge viper a few days ago....and damn that looks nice. and not only the exterior with all its carbon fibre details....but ...now sit down.....the americans have actually accomplished to make a nice interior. haha
no seriously....it looks really nice. To design the interior they teamed up with Sabelt ( they supply the seats, leather and fabric for ferrari and maserati ) and actually made something that is desirable.
they even had the outstanding idea to fit ABS brakes and EVEN traction control with a launch-, and track-mode....isnt that crazy and revolutionary ? haha

here is a link to the official SRT website with detailed pictures of the 2013 viper.

But what i like the most about the new viper.....no they have not downsized the engine to a supercharged v8 or something like that.....they stuck with the 8,4 liter v10.

the roof, bonnet and boot lid are made from carbon fibre. it has electronic suspension with different modes....comfort, sport and track

they still only offer it in manual transmission, witch is awesome !!

i am really thinking about preordering one this winter and stripping out my M3 for track use .

whats your opinion on the new viper ? let me know

    cheers,

I owned a 99 GTS, one of my favorite cars ever and I've owned everything. I loved the raw power of it and tracked it. I'd still own that car but the dealer wrecked it when it was in for service. That was the only downside, the dealers are used to working on Neons and dealing with people who buy them.

I need to see the new one, not sure about the front. Love the rest of the car!

I'm first on the order list at my dealership. Can't wait. They say we should be able to place order early to mid summer.
