I'm looking into the 35k-100k range at the moment. TMG, the STS and CTS are very great cars. I've owned both along with both V series of them as well (I've never owned the v6 STS though). If you're looking for something reliable and quick, then you will have no problem with either variation. To give you an idea on how I feel about cadillac in general; a 2005 745li was my first luxury car and I've had nothing but reliability problems with it (it stayed in the shop nearly as much as it was on the road). After I got fed up with the bmw, I switched to cadillac and have never looked back. Its american so its not all that complicated, they have never left me stranded, and they look like no other car out there.
Some guy on some other forum: You can sleep in a car, but you can't race a house.
