Can't go wrong w/ a EuroCave - profressional grade all around... our experience w/ them has been great, but they come at a dear premium. If you decide on a Eurocave, go bigger than what you think you need as the bang-for-buck factor is awful in their small formats... little more money goes a long way here (i.e., a medium is just a touch more expensive than a small, and has 2x the capacity).
I know you say you don't like stainless, but a very attractive value option is the GE Profile series, around $450-500, and you can find them anywhere (appliance stores, Home Depot, etc).
