You mean like they had used on the F50 and Enzo? The article makes it sound like this is new.

Yup TT V8 has been in development for over a year now. Amazing how much flak MTK and I got (not on this forum) for reporting this in several previous threads. We also got crap for reporting on the 599 "GTO" lightweight that was recently anounced.
