You are correct, it seems they took some of the sparkle out of the Rescue and made it more Olive and a flatter color. I'm glad that they are coming out with this color, most true Jeep fans loved it.
There is a difference and that's probably why it looked kinda grey ish in the first clip in the sun

I'm thinking they just shot the movie with a used Rescue Green Jeep. i haven't seen it yet but from that clip above it looks exactly like Rescue Green.


EDIT:

go to 1:01 and pause it. Old Dash, Old non-Auto dimming mirror. This is a 2008ish Rescue Green Wrangler. Case closed.

Its a great looking color in person, I went with white though for mine :P
