Default My wife's 2010 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Build thread

So my wife has only ever been without a jeep for only 2 years since she was 16. We ended that streak yesterday. We had very specific things we were looking for and we finally found the exact one just outside of New Orleans, so we drove 6 hours yesterday morning, picked it up and drove home. All in all, it was about 16 hours round trip, including a quick lunch and wrapping up paperwork. We would have just shipped it, but dont trust anything we havent inspected and driven.

We wanted 2010 or newer, less than 30k miles, White, 4 door, Rubicon, Automatic, Navigation, hard top and under $30k. The one we found ended up coming with premium Leather and factory remote start.

We'll be dropping it off on Monday to get:

    4" Rancho short arm Lift
    37" Goodyear MTR Wranglers
    Black rock viper wheels
Front and rear bumpers with built in 10k lb winch for clean lines
    New fender flares
    Custom running boards
    And other goodies.....

This will be our most functional Jeep so far. Here's the before shots.

Here's the 2 old Jeeps we had.

This 2004 had one just had a 6" lift and 35's. Nothing else was modifed

This was her first jeep when she was 16. It was a 1990 with a 4" lift 33" wrangler MTRs, customer bumpers and a light bar. Ended up having to rebuild the engine and transmission, installed new headers, exhaust and converted it to fuel injection from Carb. She did all of the rebuilding herself except the exhaust and transmisssion.

(Thats not me. An old high school friend)

Congrats! Saw the "4 Wheel Parts" sticker in the one pic, the store is like 5 mins from me! They always have some pretty badass trucks/jeeps in front of their store.
